Welcome to Apple Island Wife, a blog about slow living in Tasmania, Australia. I'm Emily, the writer and photographer behind the blog. I started this blog as a way to share my love of Tasmania and to inspire others to live a more sustainable and fulfilling life.

Tasmania is a beautiful island state located off the coast of mainland Australia. It's known for its stunning natural beauty, including its pristine beaches, rugged mountains, and lush rainforests. Tasmania is also a great place to live a slow and simple life. The pace of life here is much slower than in the big cities, and there's a strong sense of community.

I moved to Tasmania from Melbourne in 2015. I was looking for a change of pace, and I wanted to live a more sustainable life. I found what I was looking for in Tasmania. I now live in a small town on the east coast of the island. I love my life here. I have a close-knit group of friends, I'm involved in my community, and I have plenty of time to enjoy the outdoors.

I started this blog to share my experiences of slow living in Tasmania. I want to show others that it is possible to live a sustainable and fulfilling life, even in today's fast-paced world. I hope that my blog will inspire others to slow down and enjoy the simple things in life.
