About the Author

Garth Risk Hallberg is the author of two novels, City on Fire and The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. He has also written for The New Yorker, The Atlantic, and The New York Times Magazine.

Hallberg was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, and he grew up in North Dakota. He graduated from Harvard University and the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop. He currently lives in New York City.
