My dearest Dad Jon, I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to you today from the depths of my heart, filled with a profound sense of gratitude and love for everything you have done for me and our family.

I remember when I was a little girl, growing up in our small village in Haiti. Life was often difficult, but you always made sure that we had everything we needed. You worked tirelessly to provide for us, even when it meant sacrificing your own needs.

I remember the day you left our village to find work in the city. It was a heart-wrenching day for all of us, but you promised that you would come back for us. And you did.

You worked long hours in the city, but you always made time to call us and to send us money. You never forgot about us, and you always put our needs before your own.

Thanks to your hard work and sacrifice, we were able to move to the city and get a better education. I am now a nurse, and I am able to help others in the same way that you helped me.

I know that life in Haiti is still difficult, but I am so grateful for the sacrifices that you have made for me and our family. You have taught me the true meaning of love and sacrifice, and I will never forget what you have done for us.

I love you more than words can say, Dad Jon. Thank you for everything.

Your loving daughter,

Marie
